About Rehana

Rehana has been President of Rehana Moosa Forensic Accounting Professional Corporation (RMFA) since January 2021. Prior to starting RMFA, Rehana worked at a global boutique forensic accounting firm. She has over 13 years of professional experience, specializing in preparing and reviewing cyber and employee dishonesty insurance claims, and investigating financial motive in first degree murder and arson cases.

She has also assisted clients in conducting fraud investigations involving kickbacks and bribery, cheque fraud, payroll fraud schemes, and Ponzi schemes. She has conducted numerous investigations on behalf of various municipal police forces across Ontario relating to investment scams.

Rehana has been retained by law firms to assist in various litigation matters such as personal injury cases, civil fraud investigations, and business and shareholder disputes.

She has testified in Ontario Superior Court with respect to an affidavit prepared in the course of conducting a fraud investigation, and in an Examination for Discovery relating to a business dispute. Her reports have been used in mediations, criminal and civil trials, and arbitrations.

Rehana is a Chartered Professional Accountant and Certified Fraud Examiner. She obtained her Diploma in Investigative and Forensic Accounting from the University of Toronto and is Certified in Financial Forensics by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
